Description
An account of the resource
"Sulfur dioxide and acid rain have had a severely detrimental effect on the forest ecosystem and are the chief causes of the decline of the sugar maple stands. In this videotape, a maple sugar farmer sings a lament about the loss of his family farm. For him, the sugar bush respresented not only a livelihood, but a way of life. He blames industry, government, and himself for its destruction and realizes that the death of his maples is the beginning of the death of much more" (-Video liner notes)
